of serious punishment. >> reporter: it's unclear exactly what kind of punishment he could face. he has since removed the video and shut down his facebook page entirely. a developing story out of orange county tonight. these are live pictures at cal state fullerton where students are staying indoors where police search for an armed robbery suspect. the search is focused on three buildings. five suspects robbed a riverside county jewelry store and led the chp on a chase that ended at csu fullerton. three of them have been arrested so far. of police believed at least one of the other two is hiding somewhere on the campus. and this is the chase. one of those suspect s led on this case. the suspect bailed near the fullerton campus and

carjacked this silver car. he maked bad place to -- picked a bad place to ditch it though. he ran into a baseball diamond where the los angeles police chief was handing out toys. the suspect gave up. one look at this evidence, and it's amazing the toddler didn't even suffer a scratch. a pickup truck slammed into the wall of the child's room and snapped her crib clear in half. live in san jose with what happened next. >> reporter: they took her to the hospital, and doctors checked her out and let her go after just an hour. we're standing right in the path of where the truck went. it went over the fence, crashed into the corner of the building. the truck swung around and snacked right into the wall of the other side. >> my christmas miracle, new year's miracle, everything miracle. >> reporter: they were busy

today hammering plywood over a hole in the wall of the apartment. at 3:30 am, a drunk driver jumped the curb, hit a wall, spun out, and crashed his truck through her bedroom. >> it was here, my bed was here, the baby's crib was right here. and it hit right here and knocked her -- her head was about right here. when it hit, it knocked her to this dresser here. >> reporter: the force of the impact broke the crib in half and sent here flying. her dad found her on the ground across the room >> it knocked her off all wait to the dresser. and she hit the dresser. she was responsive, but kind of not. and then i was happy to see her crying. sounds crazy. >> reporter: amazingly, she was not hurt. the driver revved his

engine, but neighbors kept him there. >> are you a religious man? >> i'm not , i'm not. but i do believe in god. i'm glad he was there for me. >> reporter: the only person who got hurt was the mother, cut by flying glass. the driver was arrested and charged with dui and hit and run. we are learning more about the gunman behind that deadly oregon mall shooting. of friends of 22-year-old jacob roberts say he was outgoing and energetic but lived a tough life. roberts murdered two strangers and critically wounded the third yesterday before turning the gun on himself. there were about 10,000 people inside the shopping center at the time. but the sheriff there says there's a reason more people were not killed. >> based on the evidence, it appeared to the suspect's rifle did jam while he was attacking individuals in the food court. we all need to be thankful that

this incident wasn't much worse. >> roberts had no criminal record. investigators say he stole the rifle he used from someone he knew. so far there is no apparent motive for the attack. new details tonight on what happened before the discovery of two people found bound and gagged in the middle of a san francisco street. joe vasquez on how the brutal crime went down, and the cryptic aliases the suspects went by. >> reporter: according to court document, the two male sense, one carrying a gun, went inside this home at 3733 san bruno avenue, assaulted the male victim, steven reed, then tied his hands behind his back. then prosecutors say the suspects beat the female victim, 19-year-old audrey prado, hog-tied her averages to her ankles, then gagged her with a sock. last night, a resident here told linda yi that the police took key evidence away
